There are both free and paid solutions to this problem, and they give you different results. The paid solutions generally work better, so if you find yourself converting PDFs to Word and Excel on a regular basis, it is worth investing a few $ in a good tool to work with.

How do you use it:

  1. Visit the site
  2. Click “CHOOSE FILES”

  2. Select “Convert to Word”, then “Choose option”

Foxit PDF editor is a fully featured PDF editing tool, and the small brother of Foxit PDF Editor Pro. For the majority of small businesses, Foxit PDF Editor has enough functionality for day-to-day use.

How do you use it:

  1. Grab a free trial of Foxit PDF Editor here
  2. Open your PDF file in Foxit
  3. Go to File > Export > To MS Office > Word

  2. Select a location on your computer and click “Save”
